Robot location (map) on serial qvga tft display.

I whas wondering if someone can tell me how i can show a map (google maps) with my robot location on the "Byvac BV4629 serial color tft with touch".

I know about the scrolling map in the obex, though this is not for serial connection.
This display only supports .BMP files and .txt.

How do you plan to get the maps? Are you going to take screen capture snapshots of the Google Maps program running on your PC? You'd have to use some kind of graphics program (like GIMP) to convert the screen snapshot to a BMP file, then you'd have to download that to the display by following the description in the manual. There's nothing ready made.
