Dragon dictate or similar

Hi,

I would like to use a voice to text program form writing letters to programming. I have slight dexterity issue with my fingers. My searches keep turing up text to voice :blank:
So I looked up dragon products. They ranged from $349 to $249 ?? Im not going to spend that much. Are there cheaper alternatives ?
