433 MHz transmitter/receiver problem

Hi, I've looked through all of the forums and haven't been able to find anything to help me yet. I've had the 433 MHz for a few years and have been using them in my high school science research projects (discontinued now so there is little information). As I tried to program them this year to incorporate some new sensor data, I wasn't getting anything displayed on the debug screen from the board with the receiver connected. I'm fairly sure all of the code is correct and I was wondering if there was a way to test to see if they were both still working. Thanks.

    Hook it up to an oscilloscope monitoring the data and rssi lines to see that you get a signal.
