Laughable DealExtreme experience

A couple months ago, I ordered a wireless TV camera from DealExtreme. It was to replace one used by a friend to monitor his company's dip-coating equipment. Now you will notice on the linked-to product page that it says "PAL/NTSC AV system".
But the unit I received is PAL only -- even though the power adapters have U.S. plugs on them. Drat! So I went through DX's customer service procedure, which required sending them multiple photos of the product and the package it came in. I pointed out the discrepancy with their product page and that the U.S. uses NTSC, not PAL, and hoped they'd send me an NTSC camera. Well, weeks transpired, Chinese New Year came and went, and this evening I finally got a response via email:
So basically, if I don't use the product, I won't have a problem with it! Well, inscrutable as their logic is, I can't say it's wrong! And the action that's required of me? I guess that would be having a nice day.
Anyway, it was only $40, and now that I have a PAL video source, I have no more excuses for not writing a PAL overlay driver for the Prop Backpack. My friend still needs a wireless camera, but I don't think I'll be ordering another one from DealExtreme!

A staff has responded to your request. And your action is required. _____ Dear, Sorry for the inconvenience caused. We have checked with the supplier that this problem won't be happened if it's not connected to the TV. Have a nice day! Best Regards Holly
