Help roaming with Ping.

I need help with ping. It works somewhat, but all it will do is move a few inches forward, look around, and repeat this process running into everything in its way.

    Usually this kind of behavior is caused by low batteries. The drain from the couple of inches of movement causes the battery voltage to drop, the Stamp resets, and the process repeats. If you've modified the Roaming with PING program, you need to attach your modified program to one of your replies (do not use cut and paste ... use the Reply button and the Attachment Manager that appears in the dialog box). If you've not modified the program, that's not what's going to be wrong. Check your wiring and check your batteries.

    I put in new batteries and I did not modify the program. Now the bot is doing something else weird. It works fine when I am holding it my hand, but once I sit it down on the floor, it looks around, and pivots in one spot in random directions. I’ll check my wiring.
