hello i want to ask about the basic stamp i have connect it through board http://www.parallax.com/Store/Microcontrollers/BASICStampDevelopmentBoards/tabid/137/CategoryID/12/List/0/SortField/0/Level/a/ProductID/121/Default.aspx t through usb to rs232 cable not from parallax and when i run program for the ping sensor it doesn't work right ,
i want to ask is the problem from the cable or from the program but i get the program from parallax website.

1) How do you have everything connected? There are many ways that things can be connected improperly.
2) It is possible that the USB to RS232 cable is bad or doesn't work properly for this task
3) What program are you talking about? The programs on Parallax's website are all tested.
4) What does happen when you turn on the power?
5) You didn't mention this, but I assume you have been able to download the program using the Stamp Editor.
If you want help urgently, you have to spend some time and effort providing adequate information in useful form.
