Interesting article. This was discussed a while back in some trade magazines when some sort of technology started being heavily used in cars (don't remember want the big epiphany was). It is very funny to think that your car can send you an email to let you know you forgot to close the fuel cap door or something. Two big conspiracy theories were of course brought up immediately. 1) Hackers could more easily steal your car by unlocking your doors with their smartphone or 2) You car would also send texts to the local Highway Patrol so you can be emailed speeding tickets. Bottom line is that your car's sticker price just went up......
I'm thinking the biggest annoyance would be when you have to get some sort of anti-virus software fix for your car. I guess the new excuse would be "Boss, sorry I'm late but my car has the flu."
