We love to have You here Yoda152...

It's just that You might have better luck with Your question, if You were to post this in the BASIC stamp forum instead.

Actually, the problem You describe, is a non issue for a Propeller chip, (more or less),
have You considered using a Propeller setup for this?

The Propeller is a completely different microcontroller. Have a look at "The Spin Zone" articles mentioned at the bottom of this page. Also look at the Propeller Education Kit (PEK) tutorials mentioned on the same page.

There is only one Propeller chip right now,( You can get different forms of the Prop chip, I.E: Pdip, QFN...)

If You are asking what "System" to use...(or what board to mount the Prop chip in.) then it depends alot on what, and where, You want to install the board.

The Propeller Pro Development Board is not something You would use in a small robot, but is great for "desktop" use, and You can get a nice case for it..

the Propeller PROTO Board (USB) is My personal favorite, small, lightweight, and I have'nt tried yet, but I beleive it can leap tall buildings, and stop locomotives in there tracks...

There is also the latest and greatest C3, that one is very small..

Gadget Ganster sells a very handy Platform for the Prop chip...

As for data logging, check this Product out... Data Logging

    P.S.
Hey, do us all a favor, and PLEASE, PLEASE, never delete another post from this forum, Not even a bad post...
I am sure You meant well, but I, and some others, HATE THAT... now some folks aren't going to know what the question was..

    P.S.S.
    Whatever Mike said...
