wireless communication?

All,

If I wanted to communicate wirelessly from my computer to a BS2PE on a board of education board what would I need to get from the parallax website? I have the board working for sending info into the excel based datalogging program available from parallax but not sure what I would need to facilitate wireless communications.

Say the basic stamp module is in a tupperware container outside and it needs to go <100 feet into a house for the computer.

Thank you for the link to your post. I am shortly going to order 2 of http://www.sparkfun.com/products/8742 along with two of the regulated explorers to try them out.

Wow, I called and talked to parallax tech support and they had the above items plus the usb adapter and the voltage adapter cheaper than sparkfun.

You'll be happier with the Parallax versions. Their USB adapter for the XBee is the best one out there, and their prices are as good as anyone's.

Once you learn the XBees you'll find that they can do everything short of sing and dance. They're amazing little devices.

cheaper and better? yeah, I think I will go with those. Although one of the adapters is on backorder till next week. Oh well.
