I prefer Parallax to Sparkfun

Recently I required some bi-polar, latching hall sensors for a robotic brushless motor project. SparkFun carried the Melexis US1881 @ .99 cents ea. It took SparkFun three days to process my order. Or possibly 3 days before they drove to the post office. I have purchased product from SparkFun three times in the last four years. Each time I received poor customer service after the sale. In contrast, when I order from Parallax, my order is normally processed the same day.
The reason for my post is: SparkFun sells a larger selection of sensors than Parallax, and SparkFun's location makes it difficult for them to properly serve it's customers.
There is a marketing advantage for Parallax to sell the same sensors and breakout boards (or similar) SparkFun sells. Simply because Parallax's shipping capabilities are superior to SparkFun.
