Hi
Recently I have bought a Boe Bot version of the cmucam1 from parallax. This version is quite different from the original CMUcam and I was trying to figure out how to connect it to Arduino Microcontroller board.

I would really appreciate if you could advice me on this. How to communicate with BoeBot and Arduino board and how to power it up from external power source rather than using a basic stamp microcontroller.

The simple connection diagram with pin numbers will be really appreciated.

Thanks

The CMU Cam 1 for the BoeBot manual is here. The pin-out is for the AppMod connnector on the BOE (Board of Education) and the manual for that is here and the schematic is here. The AppMod socket is X1. Notice that the AppMod socket provides ground and regulated +5V. It also provides the raw supply voltage (Vin) used by the BOE although I don't believe the CMU Cam uses that. The AppMod socket also provides access to all the Stamp's I/O pins although I think only I/O pins 5-7,9-11 are used. You'll need to use the demo program for the Stamp to figure out what's what along with the CMU Cam manual.
