missing link pc-bs2

Hi to everybody,
I am using a cable usb-rs232 to link my pc (it has not a serial port), with bs2.
The cable is a Konig product.

Unfortunately, if I click on identification, the result is:

Port:Com4
Device Type: ---
Version: ---
Loopback: YES
Echo: YES

and so my pc cannot detect the bs2 (no device, no version).

How can I solve the problem?

Not all USB-serial adapters work with the Stamps. Try another one, preferably by Parallax or one using FTDI hardware.

I found the FTDI USB driver at this link:

If I Install on my pc this driver but going on to use my cable usb-rs232 (by Konig),
do you think it can works?
