Make a switch button separately to control two basic stamp microcontrollers.

Hi,

I want to know do anyone have tried make a switch button separately to control two basic stamp microcontrollers which work together? if yes , how you made it and using any specific kind of button ?

    We're going to need a little more information that that, sorry.

    What should the button do? How do the stamps "Work together" or communicate? Serial? What do you mean by "control two BS micros" ???

    I agree with Spiral_72 on this. What type of application trying to do with the 2 Basic Stamp?

    When you supply little information it makes it hard for the forum members to help you out and it may help someone else out as well who as the same application like yours.

    Two stamps can easily monitor the same pushbutton. Connect one input pin on each together ( a series 330 ohm resistor on each is good protection) and connect their junction to ground through a 1K resistor. Your SPST connects that junction to +5V (Vdd). The pins both normally read low (0) to both stamps, but when the switch gets closed, both stamps read high (1).
