Anyone use an SD card with the Spinneret yet?

I was looking at the spinneret SD card schematic and I am confused on how the card detect feature is implemented...

It says that the card detect line is pulled high regularly and then pulled low when a card is inserted... The problem here... is that I need to be able to pull the line low since it is the CS line for the SD card...

So... is the CS line pulled low all the time then? The circuit online is kinda fuzzy about this.

If the line is pulled low all the time, well, compatiblity with all SD cards may be out the door then.

I've used an SD card in my prototype Spinneret (both my hand made version and a preproduction unit from Parallax). However I don't know that I can answer your question as I believe I justed used drivers off the OBEX, it may have even been your drivers. I'd also need to study to see if there is a difference in the production version versus mine.

However - if you got a code sample that I can pop in and test and report back the results, I'd be happy to do it for you. Remember it is the preproduction version of Spinneret that I have, but I'd bet someone with a production version would be willing to help too.

Did you post the question in the spinneret forum?? I don't want to duplicate it over there if it's already been asked??
