I was reading the news tonight. I was amazed at how small they can get drones...

Domestic use of aerial drones by law enforcement likely to prompt privacy debate

"With a wingspan of 72 cm and a weight of 430 grams, the Wasp is AV’s smallest UAS. Wasp can be manually operated or programmed for GPS-based autonomous navigation."

In my latest read "Wired for War" the Predator Drone can stay flying for 24 hours !! Also its deployed by teams in/near the zone but flown operated by people thousands of miles away via satelite link from a trailer in the USA , can laser lock on targets for other weapons as well as spy etc.

I just bought an RC Cessna 1400mm wing from hobbyking N.S.W and now saw these video transmitters with goggles. A bit out of my league price wise but if I stay in the hobby might get an image transmitted to my laptop to fly ! http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=15124

ps. Im not going to War.
