I am looking for a good, sub $500 portable scope for general electronics usage. I'm looking at the Velleman HPS50 as a top contender...but the Velleman HPS140i seems kinda good too.
I just wish I could play with them and figure out what will work well, but I need to reach out to you guys for some advice.
I would love to test my power supplies for weird spikes caused by ICs, read out my serial ports to make sure they aren't doing weird things, diagnose audio problems in my car...
just a good all-around good everyday scope.
I have a bench top but it seems to be dieing on me.
Thanks for the help!

takes a little getting used to but once you understand its limitations it does everything they say
it will.
We use a 350 MHz Tek scope for most of our work so the Mso19 is used mainly as a logic analyzer
and data pattern generator.
