Cant open Stampw.exe by doubleclicking bs2-files

When doubleclicking the .bs2 file in the Filemanager (or in this forum) I expect the Stampw.exe will be opened and I can watch the file.
Instead it doesn't and I get a question on what program do I want to be able to run this file. A window opens and shows a lot of possibilites, but not the Stamp editor.
Then I am able to browse through the lists and find the Stampw.exe. I double click the icon but nothing happends. It put me back to the list where all the other program appears, except for the Stamp editor.
I am simple not able to do this operation.
Is it me or does anybody else face this problem too? I'm running Win7 and the very latest version of the Stamp editor, (Ver 2.5).
On my other systems (XP) this is not a problem at all.
Good advices will be appreciated!

Just find one of the .bs2 files you have on your computer and right click it to get the menu and use the "Open with"
Find the StampW.exe program and select it once, and then make sure the checkbox at the bottom of the window with says "always use selected program to open this type of file" or similar and then select OK.
That should fix the issue.
I run Windows 7.
Stampw.exe is just not selectable, no idea why.
Find one of the the .bs2 files you have on your computer and right click on it and select "Properties".
One of the options is "Open with"
Make sure it is set to Basic Stamp Editor , it is isn't then click on the "Change" button and browse for the Stampw.exe file and then click Ok and then Apply on the Properties page.
If that doesn't work, you will need to uninstall the PBasic on the computer and download it again and make sure that all .bs extensions are linked when it is installed.
I tried to uninstall and re-install but had no control of the installation itself. Now I'm suspecting this is due to this latest version of stamp.exe (2.5), I installed this version just a few days ago and never had this problems with earlier versions. I will try to find an earlier version somewhere and try that again because this is not a good solution. Thanks anyway.
I found a CD from Parallax and installed an old version of Stampw.exe from 2005. During this instalation I've got the question on assosiation of BS-files, something I never saw on the v2.5 installation.
After installation I replaced the old v2.2 with the new v2.5 by copying and pasting and now things begin to work.
The new version 2.5 was downloaded from Parallax web recently and during that installation there was never a question about assosiations.
Now Stampw.exe also is seen on the list beside the other programs (open in..) and also in the Control Panel remove-list.
You could also open the PBASIC editor -> eidt (menu) -> Preferences -> Files and Directories (tab) to set up the file association.
OK, didn't know that. But now it works so now I'm having a good time!
Thank you so much!
