    That's awesome! I hope it shows up at the UPENE this year so I can see it again. Thanks for posting the update.

    Thanks for posting OBC! Really cool. Is this also one of your Dad's creations?

    @Whit

    Yes, this is the improved hand.. bigger, faster, stronger..
    Gramps would like to be able to pour a can of soda, then crush the can.

    Won't he need a robotic forehead?

    Sweet! Haven't seen or heard from Gramps lately in the Forums. Now I know what he's been up to. Well done, Sir !

    He's been buried in that robot lately. :)

    Got some coding issues that I'm trying to resolve for him. We're using RCTIME to gather data for the servos. I suspect that my RCTIME to servo routines aren't quite sync'd yet.

    The object is here http://obex.parallax.com/objects/30/ and written by Martin Hebel with some help from a few others. Pretty cool, eh?

    You can use the PBASIC library found in the OBEX. There are actually three objects to get more of BASIC Stamp functions: BS2 Functions by Martin Hebel are here and another RCTIME by Beau is here. PAUSE is here. BS2 simplified commands by Microcontrolled are here. That's everything that I know about. Is there anything to add?

    You can also get BASIC functions using Bean's PropBASIC and it's a compiled converted result. In another Bean project posted on the Forum, you can put 8 BASIC Stamps into a single Propeller chip, one running in each cog.

    To translate my son - He really likes Gramp's new design. Beast Mode is the best.

    Isn't Gramps the one who posted a video where a servo mirrored the movement of a kid's elbow? He speaks french, right?

    Yes, I believe that is correct...
