There is no price, as they are free Giveaway! Have you remember this Code EZFREE2013 on the final checkout page?
I just misunderstood you, when you wrote...Great price too.
Well about paying...they will pay for the shipping as well
Good luck
Yep. Those are the ones.
What can it be used for besides sensors?
They came in a big box, 8.75" x 9.25" x 10.75", glad the shipping was free also.
OK, how do we use these to expand our Propeller Projects?
I'm giving one away, but the other two are likely going to be used in the R2 project.
Stupid TI... (Please Parallax don't make these mistakes:)
* Huge box w/Free shipping (I could have received a couple dozen in that box!)
* Advertised as free with quantity 3. (Two would have been plenty for the serious investigator)
... and what do I plan to do with them... hmmm..
Set them aside for now until I'm really bored with my existing projects (unlikely given my fondness for the Prop)
and finally find their way to the freebie table at an expo.

This all begs the question of whether free hardware is really as good as lots of free and well thought out support. Are you here to learn or to collect chips? The first choice requires a bit more than I suspect TI is willing to provide.
How much do you think this current giveaway is worth? What are they really losing?
The units themselves were made in Germany.
My big shipping box (with my name on the outer box) was DHL Global forwarded from Holland (yes, tulips, dikes & wooden shoes) to TI in Texas,
Finally, TI used FedEx Priority Overnight to re-ship it to me in Los Angeles.
Shucks, I could have waited another week or two. What's the rush? They spent 10 times shipping from Holland than the product was worth!
I can get cheaper shipping from Seeedstudio in Hong Kong to the United States than I can get in the United States. I can get $6 dollar shipping from Australia from another no name company to the United States. I'm convinced that some of these companies have secret deals.
