Ping-ing with Bob
Hi All,
I got the Ping))) set up on Bob along with the IR sensors and everything is working pretty well. The little guy can navigate around the apartment without much difficulty.
Kind of neat to see him disappear under the couch. Can't see him, but there is all sorts of whirring and clicking going on. Finally he comes rolling out to find some new predicament to get into.
Looks as tho' there are a couple of bugs to work out. The servo movement for the Ping is kind of jerky, not an operational problem, just... Darn, why is it doing that???? (Probably need to tweak the code a bit)
Then he, occasionally, likes to run into things on the left. Not real sure about this. The left side is where the IR components almost touch the rotating Ping bracket. Perhaps some interference going on there.
Anyway... not begging for help here. Just an update on one of the neatest toy... er, um, "Scientific Projects" I've had in a long time!
