video question

I have a question about hooking 2 propeller projects up to a tv. Can I combine both video signal outputs into one cable as long as both aren't transmitting their signals at the same time?

As long as the non-transmitting Prop tristates its TV output pins, that should work okay. Make sure the two Propeller boards are in close proximity, feeding the same coax. Otherwise, you may need to take additional steps for impedance matching.

I was going to just use 1 propeller for my project but would need to use 6 shift registers total & quite a few wires connecting everything up. My 2 display/buttons boards are separate peices but figured 2 propellers would just be simpler. What do u mean by tristating the pins? I'm still trying to learn these things.

Make them inputs by setting their dira bits to zero.
