I found the demo file TV_Text_Demo.spin and i want to know what pin to connect the video input to.
(It is for RCA video right?)

Also, how do you use the VGA one also?

Those demos are written for the demo board. You can find a schematic of the demo board in the education lab PDF (see first sticky thread). A good place to look for the pins in several drivers is the header of the demo/test program.

A good driver allows you to change the pins by changing a constant per pin or one constant which defines the base pin. Base means it's the first pin and all other pins follow this one in a row.

a standard VGA output connector cannot be converted to s-video.
however some vary rare computer video cards had a feature that would output TV compatible video from its VGA connector. for those computers only, a cable with VGA connector on one end and s-video on the other will work. that is what is sold on eBay. Check the info on your computers video card, as you will need to activate a software switch to convert its output from standard VGA to TV inside the computer.

Matrox was one of those vendors. Had a G400 for a while that output a very nice s-video signal. That particular card was not so good for 3d models, but it was flat out awesome for 2d work.

farlepet:Firstly, welcome to this great forum and the prop chip.
Now to your question. TV is (here) composite video and usually NTSC but most drivers can also be configured for PAL. There is a 3 or 4 pin network of resistors (usually only 3 are actually used) and usually on ports P12-14(P15). It is easy to connect the resistors to the pins. See the Propeller Demo Board schematic on the Parallax Store for the circuit and values.

mauriala: Welcome too. I note you refer to VGA and S-Video - we are talking about composite video here. A composite video input on a TV us usually a Yellow RCA connector. S-video is usually a mini-din8 and VGA is a DB15 using 3 rows of pins.

I got it to work. But i cannot get inputs to work, but it senses a HIGH signal when my finger comes in contact with the pin.
