    Welcome to the forums!

The software you seek on this page, third one down:

    http://www.parallax.com/tabid/441/Default.aspx

Be sure and install the FTDI (USB) drivers BEFORE plugging in the USB cable.

Have fun with the BOE! Ask questions! This is a fun forum.

There are two files you need to download and install: the MacBS2 program and the latest FTDI drivers for OSX.

You can get both here http://www.muratnkonar.com/otherstuff/macbs2/index.shtml

The link to the FTDI drivers is at the bottom of the page and click the download link at the top of the page for MacBS2

Ok, so i have another question guys... Im pretty sure that I downloaded the MacBS2 program, but when I tried to test the program nothing happened. Is there a really good tutorial on how to use the MacBS2 program? Like a "hello world" tip

Also, I did click on the link that forrest said to click for the FTDI drivers but i dont see where the download link is.

Thank you again for the help. :)

Which USB To Serial Device do you have?

    The FTDI drivers are here:

    http://www.parallax.com/tabid/530/Default.aspx

I believe the MAC site was referring to the KeySpan drivers.

Have you tried other programs with your MAC.(They wont work rite ether)
    '
I would return the MAC machine and get a Windows machine.
    '
This will save you a lot of time in the end.

Plenty of MAC users on this forum that are happy with the hardware. Many cross platform software answers exist.

hey jim, whats a PBasic tokenizer? because the MACBS2 interface is telling me that i need to install it and "The PBasic Tokenizer file ('tokenizer.shlb') must be in /Library/CFMSupport." im confused on what that is telling me*

At the very bottom of the Download page:

    http://www.parallax.com/tabid/441/Default.aspx

is the tokanizer download. There is also a FAQ (More Information) next to the MAC software download that may be of some use.

Ok so, i have downloaded PBASIC tokenizer twice, but it keeps on telling me that "The PBasic Tokenizer file ('tokenizer.shlb') must be in /Library/CFMSupport." i have found my library but i have not found the CFMSupport in the library...

where is the CFMSupport? and when i do find it do i just click and drag the PBASIC tokenizer into the CFMSupport?

thank you again for the help
