Hi,

what happens when the multimeter is operating in current mode /resistance mode?
If 2 meters are connected together in these two modes ie one in current mode and the other in resistance mode, what happens?
Can any one explain pls?

You need to connect the meters in series to get meaningful results. In this case, the current-mode meter will measure the amount of current generated by the resistance-mode meter to measure the resistance, which must also be placed in series. The resistance-mode meter will measure the resistance of the series resistor plus the resistance of the sense resistor in the current-mode meter.

Of course, you realize that if this is for a take-home final exam, the answers I just gave you are complete baloney!
