Greener Scribbling

Hey all,

Phil Pilgrim suggested that I start scribbling with the S2 on a dry-erase white board. Clearly a much greener solution than using endless poster boards.

I found some great markers yesterday. They are Mega SRX Dry-Erase Markers from Hobby Lobby.

The barrel and tip are almost idenitcal to a Sharpie. I also got a frameless white board. I can't tell you how many pieces of poster board I have used with students over the years. This is a great solution. Best of all - they are (of course) NOT permanent. No more black marks on the Scibbler or S2 or the floor or library table or the...

Add Chris Savage's pen lifter and a way to push a dry marker eraser around and you could really have some fun. Enjoy! And give Phil a big thanks too!

Those pens are a great find, Whit! The ones I use are so skinny, I have to wrap them with masking tape. Thanks for posting!

You can also buy 4' x 8' sheets of Melamine, (that's what Dry Erase boards are made of), at Home Depot. We used to put one in every office for a "Idea Board".

This way two or more Scribblers can be drawing at the same time.
