Breadboard Compatible Rocker and Slide Switches

Hi,

I was looking through the mouser.com catalog for some rocker and slide switches that are compatible with the Parallax .1" breadboards but was unable to find switches that are specified for breadboards. Many seem to have short leads that are better suited to soldering, but I suspect would otherwise be very loose in a breadboard.

Any suggestions for any major manufacturer inexpensive switches for the Parallax boards is appreciated!

Mouser and Digikey are in business to really sell large lots, thousands of one component. Breadboards are pretty much a side line. I doubt if you will find any switch manufacturer that wants to bother with this rather limited niche.

I suppose you could tool up your own somehow. I have certain done a few items to help me build things that are easy to work with.

Take one of the SPDT PCB switches and solder it to the short leads of a 3-pin header. Then you can push the long leads into the breadboard, which will hold t tightly.

I know they're not toggles or rockers, but the E-Switch 320 series pushbuttons are breadboard friendly.
