The body is made from a plastic that is used to make signs. It can be heated and molded with just a lighter.

It has 2 ping sensors to avoid objects
it has 2 90 degree infrared modules used together for a heat seaker. It will follow a human from about 5 feet.
It is powered by 4 parrallax continuous rotation servos.

    Hey GreenLight,

Pretty cool photo. I wonder... do the Pings work o.k. like that? They look like they are pointed a little skyward. How about a schmatic and some more details? I'd like to see what you have used to make the tracks and some other details.

    Thanks.

It looks like the Pings are inside of the plastic body. Are there holes cut out for the Pings?

I'm pretty sure the Ping sensor can't see through plastic.

What are you using for a controller? I'd also like to know more about the tracks you're using. Are they from a kit?

Thanks for posting a picture. I think treaded vehicles are cool.
