Prop crystal socket?

Hello All:
'
I'm try to find the crystal socket that Parallax uses on the Propeller Pro.Dev.Board and the Prop. Proto Board.
'
I see two brass/copper inserts in the boards. Are these added to the board after its made or is this a board-house option?
'
I'm working on sharping my Diptrace skills here. Is there a crystal socket in the Diptrace library that fits?
'
Thanks for any help on this.
'
Happy Holidays

They are called cage jacks, Cambion is one company that makes them. I don't know if those are what Parallax uses, though.

You can make the same by buying an expensive IC socket and cutting away the plastic. The remaining metal single-pin socket can be used as one of two pins required for a crystal.

Like Loopy saying, you can also use the Tin PCB panel (IC Breakable Header Socket, BHS) that is what I've used for the crystal socket on my costume Propeller board.

Leon: Thanks for the name of the socket.

Are the cage jacks installed by the PCB house or are they installed like components?
    '
Loopy & electrosys: Thanks for the idea of using BHSs, I have a bunch of these on hand.

They are soldered when the board is assembled.

I've just read this thread which is also about the crystal socket, they are:
...Mill-Max 0552 series, Digikey sells them for $0.93 per 10...(Paul Baker)
