Is this real? Have I grown so old that I expect a refrigerator to have a door and shelves?

...methinks pouring left-over beef stew into that green stuff would be rather messy!

I think the designer still has his mommy cook and store his food for him. Typical egghead idiocy and hype. BTW the green color will do a great job masking mold and be a great suspension medium for all sorts of bacteria as well.

And one other thing, where do you put the case of beer in this geekfridge meets the Ipod?

Crumbs? Spills? Condensation? Not ready for primetime just yet.

Reminds me of the old days when they used to preserve eggs in water glass (sodium silicate) the stuff of chemical gardens.

I don't think the designers cook for themselves, because this thing is NOT designed for food. Why is there a whole raw fish in a refrigerator? Where would you put beverages? If you put in a crumbly cookie, how would you get all the crumbs out? What about condiments?

I think this thing isn't at all ready for production.

Are they for real? That looks like something out of Star Wars. Who would want something like that?
