Connecting multiple lines to Vss

I have an application where I need to connect a line of 8 photoresistors to my Stamp. The are only 5 Vss pins available on the board though. Can I collect the Vss connections into 4 and 4 and then run one line from the groupped 4 Vss to the Vss pin on the board?
