For the IRF644 http://www.vishay.com/docs/91039/91039.pdf

Did the rectifier blow and damage the other parts?

That my guess that what happen The rectifier was not putting any voltage and when I replaced the rectifier from Raido Shack
I have power but still will not heat the gun I put a new gun still no heat

I found on Ebay a store in Germany that sells the power for it but it would cost about $50.00 to ship it to the USA
But the person that I send the Email told me the part # that I could use to fix the power board with

    Replaced all three Parts

HCPL-817-36DE Avago Technologies Transistor Output Optocouplers 5000 Rms 50mA

    RS1507M Rectron Bridge Rectifiers 15A 1000V

    IRF640PBF Vishay MOSFET Power N-Chan 200V 18 Amp

Also had a problem with the transformer pins and plug pins on board where bad
Wired transformer wires to the Power Board

The problem start about two week ago when I was using de soldiering station the temp would go 30* to 40* F higher than it was set for but that day it happen three or for time that day

A few day latter when I turn it back on NO Heat

This has happen before a few time before the temp would go 30* to 40* F higher than it was set for it this would happen once then start working ok agian and when you would use again another day it would work ok then it might be month or two before it would happen again

Now that I replaced all three parts and Repaired transformer wires it tracks the temp alot better than it has for a while :smile::smile:
