Errant Horizontal Scrollbar

With Opera running under WinXP, I get an errant horizontal scrollbar on all thread pages, even when the right-hand portion contains no content:

attachment.php?attachmentid=76018&d=1291406973

This does not occur under Opera in OS/X.

-Phil

Addendum: I've also discovered that, when I reply to a post, the page that follows (containing my reply) is, by default, scrolled all the way to the bottom and to the right (i.e. both scrollbars at their extremes). -P.

Huh, I bet if I find whatever is causing that to appear I could include a little bit of code to remove it for specific browsers. I will look into this.

I've been unable to recreate this problem with Opera running on WinXP; might be a version issue?

Thanks for checking, Bump. I'm using Opera 9.6 under WinXP. This page, for example, has a horzontal scrollbar:

    attachment.php?attachmentid=76159&d=1291767082

    as does this one:

    attachment.php?attachmentid=76160&d=1291767254

    and this one:

    attachment.php?attachmentid=76161&d=1291767385

    I could go on... :)

Okay, I just installed Opera 10.63. 'No horizontal scrollbar. 'Problem solved -- for me at least.

    Thanks,

    Endless windows, noooooooooo!
Yeah I've noticed this forums software isn't as friendly with regards to versions, and the same could be said about how friendly it is with browsers also. Some of the really attractive features are lost to non-IE / non-Mozilla users, which is a bummer because no one likes being dictated to as far as browser choice.
