Any good PID routines out there?

Hi Guys,
I'm busy building a H-Bridge controlled system. I'm testingn a fuzzy controller, but thinking of trying a PID controller to see how it would work. Does anyone have a decent PID object out there. I downloaded one from the object exchange. It is short and straight forward but could use a bit more explanation and one review wasn't very nice. So I'm looking for options.
