High-side switch?

I have four large 7-segment LED displays that I intend to hook up to a Prop. Each segment has four LEDs in series. The anodes are common.

Previously I've done this with a bunch of transistors and resistors, but I'm sure there's a cleaner way. I'm thinking ULN2803 for the low side, but is there a chip for switching the high side (about 12V, maybe 300mA max in bursts)?

    VN330SPTR-32-E

'Not through-hole, though, and a bit on the high-side, price-wise, too.

Take a look at the UDN2981/2. As close to a high side version of the ULN2803 as I have been able to find. Available in smt and thru hole.

PS - You might even consider using a quad optoisolator like the PS2502-4 or even a quad triac output optoisolator like the TLP525G-4.

Thanks, gents. The VN330-etc looks perfect but is too rich for my blood, so I ordered some UDN2891s even though I'll only use half of the chip's drivers.
