TV not working?

Well, i just got my new Prop demo board today. I installed the drivers and watched the demo program, then i went off to interface it to the TV. Well, i hooked up the composite video cable to the TV IN section and i uploaded the tv demo to the Prop. After messing around with the TV for a long time i could not get it to display the text in a consistent fashion. It just didn't work? I am not sure if i am doing something wrong or if the TV is not working the way it is supposed to? Is this a simple newbie mistake? I have used the Prop for near a year now and this is my first time using video(A little late, haha). Anybody have a step by step of interfacing the Prop to the TV?

    Steps:
    1) Get some kind of Propeller board with a TV output
    2) Download one of the TV demos into it
    3) Plug the TV output into the video input jack of the TV

That's the way it's always worked for me, whether I've had a Demo Board or a Protoboard with the video circuitry copied from the Demo Board.

Check your video cable. Check that you have your TV set up properly and you have the cable plugged into the right spot.

You might want to check the solder connections on the Prop chip itself. I had one a while back that worked loose for some reason and I just had to touch the tip of my soldering iron to the pin to resolder it. (Don't do that for more than a second or so... you could damage or burn it.)

While you're at it... I'd check the other components... it sure sounds like something is loose.

@Wjsteele... Yeah, it was kinda weird. I touched the board a certain way and the TV flickered on and off. So i bent the two PS/2 connectors towards each other and the board sprang to life...I briefly looked over the board and i didn't see any glaring faults. I will examine it a little closer after i get into the new place..
