four programs in one

I have four devices, a led chaser with two 74hc595. A six digit clock,with a max 7219 ( not real time) a bar graph, with a 74hc595 ,and a count down timer with a max7219 ,,7 seg display . I want to run all four things at the same time.
Is it ok to just place one program code after the other,,or would it be better to have 4 inputs to tell it which program to run( that would be fine if best ) Or use the menu command? Thanks
