Wanted:microcontroler w/board cheap or free

Im desperately looking for a microcontroler with a board and if possible with the manual and cables. Im trying to get into this hobby and have noticed that its not cheap. Currently im a college student looking to get into this as a possible carrier but due to the economy i have very little to spend on this stuff. Im 20 yr old and have no job but school. If anyone has any microcontrolers with boards and are looking for a good home for them please let me know. I cant pay you much but Im willing to pay for all shipping cost.
Any help is greatly appreciated and needed.

Thank you for the offer but I'm looking for something like a basic stamp2. I just think that I need something a little simpler. Im really hoping someone has a boe bot kit or a starter kit that I can learn the code from before moving up to the higher lever stuff.
