can any one tell me the location where the auto-recovery files are kept on the c: drive. One of those times you should have said yes rather than no.

I was hoping to recover the directory to a previous restore point and recover the file. But now I can not get the program to auto-save/recover a file so I can track down the temp directory the program is using to save the temp file. I know it is a persistent file...... any ideas on where they are saved?

    Thanks

BST saves them in the current user's home directory, the Propeller Tool (provided that recovery is enabled) stores them under

    Vista: <user home>/AppData/Local/Parallax/...
    XP: <user home>/Local Settings/Application Data/Parallax/...

Just verified (Vista) that when I compile (F8) an unsaved file a temporary copy appears in a directory in the hierarchy listed above. HTH

Thank you very much. I should be able to recover it now. I gave up looking for it and started to try to redo it from memory........never a good thing. The current version loaded on the propboard for my gsm project is working and was really debating loading the new code. At least now I should be able to see how bad I boched it.
    Thanks again

    for the future check dropbox.com
the free 2Gb version includes a 30 days data recovery.
Otherwise payed version can offer an unlimited recovery for a small fee.
