It certainly would be nice if someone from Parallax would in some way (by posting a comment or a PM) at least acknowledge that they are reading suggestions.
Some tasks do make Parallax appreciated for being more humane than other web sites, and such things can't be done robotic-ally.
I am not talking about every posting herein, just the starts of new threads.

Yes, from this point we will reply to the posts in our "Suggestions to Parallax" forum. This will be done by a public response to a forum post instead of a PM. We'll do our best to reply to every suggestion in this forum. I'm the primary person who will monitor this forum on our behalf. Sometimes I will reply; other times I will ask one of my colleagues to reply.
In turn, my request to the forum members is to have some understanding that we won't be able to respond to all suggestions with a solution that answers the request to the poster's satisfaction. We're customer-driven around here, but we often have to put our long-term goals in front of immediate requests. As engineers and technical people you will understand that you are most productive when not interrupted or derailed by external demands. My goal is to help evaluate and prioritize their work by analyzing and planning these requests into their workload, as appropriate.
Now to reply to Phil's "open letter to Jeff Martin".

Thanks ever so much. I know you have to juggle quite a bit and everyone at Parallax is endlessly multi-tasking.
And for suggestion protocol, I hope everyone tries to avoid personal wish lists and seeks things that enhance the whole experience for everyone. At least, that was my intention in this particular request.
