We are using the PINK and a BS to monitor an existing home automation system.
Basic stamp gets all input and output states of the input and output modules (gardy domotica system)

Made a webbrowser application to monitor and control the inputs/outputs.

Wohoo, it's working :). Controlling and monitoring the system 220 Kms from here.

Attached a screenshot

Top row shows the PINK module, followed by 5 input modules.
bottom row shows 3 output modules.

Very nice. You might considering submitting this as a 'finished project'. In this context, the PINK and a few BasicStamps are a very good solution.

Very nice tumbler, i also suggest writing it up for submission to parallax. Go for that $100 credit.

This is definitely a good candidate for a Completed Project.

Were you able to have a static IP address or do you use a forwarding service?

Hey Tumbler, awesome project! But can you tell me what is a gardy domotica system and what does the words in your screenshot mean? No problem if you translate to Norwegian

I think you have seen my boring PINK-page, I hope to make something better, someday. Just into so much other projects these days.

    In General..

Domotics is derived from the Latin word "domus" (house) and the suffix "otics", pointing at automation. This led to the creation of “Wireless Domotica “, a system that lets users control and monitor home appliances using mobile devices.
As stated in this article http://www.ece.stevens-tech.edu/sd/archive/01F-02S/deliverables/grp14/2001grp14_final.pdf Hope this adds some help.

This is a great project and I hope to see more, thanks for posting it.

    @stamptrol

    Using dynamic dns: http://www.dyndns.com
My router supports it, so i don't have to log in every 3 months :)

Hmmm, i can add this to the project pages later, first i have to help Eod and Chris

Throw me on the back burner Tumbler, I have my working version of HTML for my project and I am not in a rush. I appreciate the thought though.
