Hot dang, she beat my balancing bot to it. Woo-Hoo! 13 months old and cute as a button.

Congratulations erco....or should that be Amy. If she is anything like mine were like when they got mobile you better move anything hazardous or fragile out of reach.

If it's in reach, it's coming down!

Great times! Enjoy them while you can as they go so fast!

Can you make it turn left and right with that remote?

@Franklin: I think so! Here she's "optical beacon tracking" to the closest Halloween candy wrapper (or most anything shiny). Early on, both girls showed a predilection to my shiny red/silver diet coke cans. Should be a simple matter to program them to fetch me beer cans from the fridge. I may not need a robot for that after all!

erco - real quick they will be climbing and getting into all sorts of things you can't even think of! When my kids were that age I had to move all of my electronics play things into a locked room. All those little resistors and caps and things looked real tasty to them! They are twentyfive and twentyeight now and long gone, but now I have to worry when the grandkids come over to visit!

I had to check this thread thinking it was a new humanoid robot named Amy and programmed to walk. What a surprise. Based on the length of time for a human to develop walking skills, I wonder when AI machines will catch up to humans.

You'll need to create a spec sheet designating all of their functions. Hope you've got a table drop-off avoidance in there, and do they swarm? What is their juice input to output ratio? Will you program dance in their tiny repertoires? How about a feeding station?

Enjoy the walking phase while you can. They'll be running in a few days/weeks! :)

Now you're in trouble. First they walk, then they run, next thing you know boys are calling - I'm at that stage now.
