Hi everyone,

i ve learned C & C++ n many other languages. And ve learned electronincs also... Nw i want to learn about simmulation programming.. Is der anybody who will helpout me on A-Z about simmulation, i really keen to about.....

Matlab is a good general purpose simulation program. Just depends on what you want to simulate.

ya i no sm what about metlab, not in details.... n i want to wrk on simmulation for different types of IC's which r used in building smart electronic systems. (Like systems with AI)... I nly no dat it is known as firmwares...??

    Please write English!

You seem somewhat confused, what does AI have to do with firmware and simulation? Do you want to simulate software?

AI is artificial Intellegence. I m a c,c++ programmer n i want to do smthing in simmulation programming?? plz guide me as this all is very new to me.. what is my scope in electronics?? I know microcontrollers n microprocessor programming also.. i ve learned digital electroics also....

You still haven't said what you want to simulate! I asked you if you wanted to simulate software, is that what you want to do?

Have you looked at LTSpice? Is that what you are looking for?

i dnt no wat is spice... i m a software programmer... n i want to study about robotics. N for dat i have to learn simmulation first or we can say it as loading sm kind of a program into sm microprocessors or microcontrollers to make them functionable according to our program. I want to learn all the tools n methods to do this kind of work.. dats all... any suggestions??

achala, I hate to say this but I think you know just enough to be dangerous, however that is not enough to know what questions to ask. What you are asking is so vague and general that there really is no answer. You need to learn a bit more in order to ask more specific questions.

Yes. Quite hard to follow the question, but I did make out Robot and Simulation.

See if this website has some things that you are looking for:

:)Many thanx Jim. I read some articals n pdfs from the website and i really found it very much useful.Under the hardware section many robotic microcontrollers are mentioned. How can i get one? and RoboBasic is really simple language but what about "C"? Can we write any kind of simmulation program using "C" language?

Which one are you interested in? Most micros have stores that will sell them and forums to support them.

how the basic stamps and propeller can be used in simmulation?

Controllers like the Stamp and Propeller aren't usually used for simulation, what exactly are you after?

And, please try to write in English instead of gobbledegook!

I always write simple english not gobbledegook

And i m total unaware of Propeller and Stamp... But somewhere i read that these can be used in robotics programming. My simple rwquirement is I just want to learn simmulation programming ( Interfacing hardware (electronic components) with software(programs)).
Do u have any sugessions over it??? Then reply to it.

I don't see the relevance of simulation in that context. You seem to be asking about ordinary embedded software development; most embedded software development environments, such as Microchip's MPLAB, include a simulator.

    Your English has suddenly improved!

    Hi,
    Thank you for compliment.
Actually still, I am wondering with my queries and yet, I have not got anything except lot of confusion. If I am a beginner in this technology what you advice me to do?

I think a lot of the confusion has to do with a lack of understanding on what you want to do. If you want to learn how to program a robot I would recommend the boe-bot kit. If you want to simulate the workings of a robot without the robot robobasic is probably a good starting point. If you want to simulate analog and digital circuits then I would recommend LT Spice (Google it).
