Small 2-way radio system designed for pets (?). I think it has more potential for hacking into a mobile robot or other project.

Or some sort of hidden microphone/speaker gag.

Ha... I think the talking dog in the movie UP already stole that show last year, much like OctoMom stole the multiple babies show last year. She ruined it for us; our twins don't get a second glance these days!

I bought two of these a couple of weeks ago when they were only $8. They're pretty interesting. Both the handheld and the collar unit have rechargeable batteries. The collar unit has a VOX (which can be turned off), and it seems to work quite well. The handheld has just PTT (and also works well). There are several channels to choose from.

It is all, of course, cheap plastic junk, but it works just fine, so far at least.

I suppose the greatest use for this is to convince other people that you have a talking dog. You hide and send the dog out to befriend your unsuspecting target. Maybe you can find a beautiful girl and have your dog beg to have his ears scratched.

You can also put one on your dog and turn up the volume. Then take your iPhone and download "Big Mean Barking Dog." Now you can transmit the big bark and convert your tiny PeeWee Shrimp Wimpy dog into a big ferocious one. Even better, you can install a bark activated device and replace the original wimpy bark with the big one. Makes a more convincing watch dog.

Wouldn't it be some kind of confusing to the pets like Cats and Dogs, by hearing the sound of the master talking and not being able of seeing the master!? It just a think!

Great, very useful for guard dogs. They can check in on the hour throughout the night. Just imagine getting a call at 3am, "Hi Boss, this Guard Dog Lethal at checkpoint six. It is 0300 hours and all is well, arf, arf."
