I am working on a robot made out of a RC car. I got some BS2 holders for my custom circuit but don't know where to supply the BS2 with positive and negative. Can someone please help me. Thank

Look in the "Basic Stamp Syntax and Reference Manual" for pin-outs and schematics. It can be downloaded from Parallax and it's included in the help files of the Stamp Editor.

Vss is the ground connection and Vdd is the connection for regulated +5V. The BS2 has an on-board voltage regulator, so you can use Vin as an alternative power input for something between +6V and +7.5V. You can apply a higher voltage to Vin, but the on-board voltage regulator may run hot as a result.

If you use Vin for power, then Vdd becomes an output for small amounts of regulated +5V. There's a total of 50mA available and the BS2's internal circuitry will use some of that.
