Is it possible to produce noise from a small computer speaker from a BS2 stamp? I would like to set up a quick and easy circuit that plays a witches voice and a couple different screams when someone approaches my door. I need help with the coding for this also. How can I increase the volume?

    A BS2 can't produce voices or screams, just simple tones (look at the Manual or on-line help for the FREQOUT statement). RadioShack sells a little recorder module (here) that records up to 20 seconds of sound and will play it back through an included speaker when a button is pressed. You can drive a simple reed relay from the BS2 as shown in Nuts and Volts Column #6 and connect the relay contacts across the pushbutton switch on the recorder so the BS2 can start playback.
