Hi All:
Anybody can give me any idea to start this new project. I want to use a "very cheap" IC from microchip.com. All I want to do is when that IC is ON send a number EX: "1" and the Bs2 receive that number. I need some help where to start. Attached is the data sheet. The IC has 5 pins. SDA , SCL and the voltages pins. The parallax will receive the data from this IC? How? same as receiving data from Bs1?
I will figure how to send the data from the 24AA00T but I need to know how to receive on the BS2.

Gracias!

There is a Nuts and Volts Column on the subject of using I2C protocol devices like the 24AA00T with the BS2. It includes source code for the subroutines needed. Go to the main Parallax webpage and click on the Resources tab. You'll see a link to the Nuts and Volts Columns index. I believe the column is #85, but I may be wrong. You might browse through the columns. They're full of useful information about the Stamps.
