This is pretty fabulous.... There are some videos on Youtube as well.

Kinda' expensive, but with the supplied program, you pose the bot, and load the pose into memory.... so it's kind of stop motion. Then play back the sequences.

Now where can I get $900??

    Spiral_72,

You ought to at least get a couple of their AX-12+ servos. They are pretty darn cool. Instead of sending a pulse to position the servo you send serial commands. The servos can change to continous roation with just a command.

If you bought a 3D printer you could make it on your own for cheaper. I'm currently working for a guy right now trying to edit some stl files so he can print and sell mini mendel 3D printers.

WHAT!!!??? I can't believe you have one! I'm jealous.

I dunno how anyone can afford those servos at almost $50 apiece!!! It sure would make controlling a breeze though :)

@Paul K - there are a couple of programs in the obex for the ax12's. If you need help using mine "ax12+ Dynamixel servo driver" start a new thread and I will give some assistance using it. (don't want to interupt Spiral 72's thread!). Both of the drivers in the obex are based on Mike G's work.
