Hello teachers!
Recently, we've heard of an educational publication featuring robotics in K-12 education that is currently accepting chapter proposals.
The target for this publication is to highlight current robotics programs that are used to stimulate science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) learning in K-12 formal and informal educational environments.
If you are interested in submitting a chapter, more information can be found here.
And should your chapter happen to feature Parallax products, and be accepted, we will be more than happy to donate whatever hardware you require to complete your publication!
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask! Thanks in advance for your proposals!
Cheers,
Jessica

Seriously, this does sound pretty worthwhile, although it's extremely last minute. An Oct 30 deadline for proposals? Yikes. I emailed Dr. Barker for more info.
And yes, I agree about the deadline. Unfortunately, we just found out about this on Friday and only posted it to the Educator's Forum. I then had an 'ah-ha' moment this afternoon and thought the Robotics forum might be an excellent place to post it too.
Thanks for your interest in the book. We are looking for chapters concerning robotics in education both formal and informal, and competitions. There are no royalties for chapters.
Thanks,
Brad

We have just received word that the deadline for submitting chapter proposals has been extended to November 30th. So if you were interested in submitting a chapter, but didn't get a chance to, there's still time!
Best of luck!
