USB professional development board - is it still made ?

I noticed on the web site that all the professional development boards for the basic stamp sold alone or with stamp works is only the serial with the usb adapter option.

Are the ones with USB ports still being made ?

    I think I saw a post that said the serial boards are more versatile and cheaper and a USb to serial adapter can be used for many devices.

    You are correct. The Professional Development Board has a serial port that comes with the USB to serial adapter.
