PCB production

Hello ALL,

I've currently been using "OURPCB" from China for all my prototype's. Their production run of QTY:100 will cost $1.78 per. board 3 x 4 in size. Another smaller board is $0.50 per. 100 also. Shipping cost is $142.00 for both. That's $370.00 total.

1) Does any body know of a better deal in the USA?
2) Both boards are Thru hole.

What do y'all think of those prices?

The one company that I did check with in the USA wanted $11.00 + per. board....A board from China with ALL discrete component cost less then that.

Please advise...Thanks
Howard

I have found that for large board orders, Sunstone can get pretty cheap with their Quickturn service. But, you will need to cut the boards up from the panels.

If you go their site, it is very easy to generate a quote. Put in their largest board size of 12" x 14", then select the number of boards you would need, it will give you a price for the quantity of boards you put in. These are solder mask, silk screen one side, 3 day delivery.

I like OurPCB too. Their engineers have picked up a few faults on designs I sent them and suggested fixes, and I was very impressed with that. The prices are hard to beat.
